Our employment practices group is composed of attorneys at all levels who concentrate their practices on various types of employment issues – both proactive and defensive.

Many employers are not in compliance with a variety of laws, but most possible violations can be easily detected and corrected. Our attorneys can perform legal compliance audits and create proactive protections for HR development. These audits can help to prevent litigation, which can save employers time and money.

If litigation does occur, our employment lawyers have extensive experience in representing employees and employers in a wide variety of issues, including harassment, discrimination, wage hour complaints, and whistleblower disputes.

Additionally, our employment lawyers can help employers set up investigation programs and thoughtfully build these programs into a business’s operational structure. This functionality allows employers to have critical reporting so that any issues can be corrected early and correctly, saving time, reputation, and money.

With offices coast to coast, Calhoun, Bhella & Sechrest, LLP is a boutique law firm made up of a national team of lawyers trained at some of the biggest firms in the country.  We counsel with a cutting-edge approach to legal matters by incorporating wisdom earned through experience with fresh ideas and different perspectives from a broad range of backgrounds and legal expertise. Tempered together, this approach has become the cornerstone of what sets us apart from others.

It is through this uncommon counsel that we are able to achieve the best possible results for our clients, whether it is handling “bet the company” cases in high-stakes litigation, counseling a client through a multi-billion dollar transaction, or navigating regulatory hurdles to expand or save the business. We are proud of our attorneys’ many achievements across a variety of practices and industries, and most importantly, proud of the results we have helped our clients to achieve.
