Aaron Siegrist is a Member of Pierce / McCoy’s Labor & Employment team in Richmond, Virginia. His practice focuses primarily on complex labor and employment litigation and counselling on behalf of employers and employees, particularly with respect to wage and hour issues, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, discrimination, breach of contract and other claims.

Aaron’s counselling practice covers a full range of labor and employment issues, including regulatory compliance, proper classification of independent contractors, drafting and revising employment contracts and executive employment agreements, executive compensation, WARN Act compliance, corporate restructurings, reductions in force, and other matters. He also regularly conducts due diligence in connection with sales, purchases, mergers, and acquisitions for businesses of varying sizes and structures across a number of industries. In this capacity, he works closely with Pierce / McCoy’s Corporate and Capital Raising practice groups.

Aaron’s litigation practice is composed of both traditional employment litigation (e.g. discrimination, harassment, disability accommodations, wage and hour claims) and litigation concerning related areas of law, including corporate governance, breach of contract, business conspiracy, tortious interference with contracts and business expectancies, intellectual property and trade secret protections, and the enforcement of restrictive covenants, including covenants not to compete, non-solicitation restrictions, and non-disclosure agreements.
